Ban Thai and Sushi looks very traditional on the inside. I dined in by myself - a little solo lunch. I ordered the Fresh Salmon roll - Salmon and cucumber, topped with more salmon. I also ordered Green Chicken Curry. They didn't ask me what spice level for the curry. The main dish came with a rice and chicken soup. The dishes I ordered came quickly to my table. The sushi roll was delicious. It was simple and the fish tasted good. My first taste of the green curry, however, was surprising. It tasted sweet. It was a sweet, savory, with no spiciness at all.

Enjoyed a quick meal at Ban Thai this weekend that was filling, yummy, and fast. Have been visiting Ban Thai for years and love to stop in when in town. The service is great, food comes out quick, and the place is usually busy. The highlight is their sushi, there are many options and it's always fresh and delicious. They also have a great curry selection and tons of appetizers and other meal options. This round we had the fried tofu appetizer, green and panang curry, sushi, and miso soup. The food was pretty good, the green curry was a bit lacking in flavor but the rest was decent. Overall, a very consistent spot with great food.

We've been coming here for years. On this visit, we started with the stuffed chicken wings and a double order of the eel sushi. We also had a cup of the Tom Kha Gai. All of the starters were excellent. For the main course, we had an order of their Pad Thai and the Fancy Duck. Both dishes were very good. Overall, we had a nice dinner. Their prices have sky-rocketed over the past couple of years. The service was friendly and speedy. The ambience is ok.

I thought the Tom Yum soup with shrimp and mushrooms was delicious. The Crispy Duck was very flavorful. The best part was the Conch Sashimi. Very fresh and tasty. I plan to repeat this experience next month.

Sunday afternoon took the girls out to celebrate our "baby's" 42nd birthday, her choice of restaurant. She chose Ban Thai because Thai is one of our favs. Early afternoon and not too busy but heavy winds and rains from Hurricane Debbie passing close by. The six of us were seated right away, brought waters and menus. We ordered two Veggie Egg Rolls and four Thai Spring Tolls to share as starters. The birthday girl wanted the Pineapple Fried Rice. My wife chose the Cashew Chicken. My eldest daughter decided to sample everyone else's plates. Granddaughter, 21, went for Chicken Broccoli and Granddaughter, 13, selected the Ban Thai Chicken. Wanting to try something different I decided on the Amazing Eggplant. We enjoyed the accompanied small bowl of Chicken and Rice soup, hot and tasty. Also the appetizer Rolls came quickly and were eaten so quickly that I forgot to snap pics! Shortly our meals came and all were fantastic. Each dish was passed around and sampled by all. However, my eldest daughter and I both agreed that we have a new favorite - the Amazing Eggplant! Best we had ever had anywhere! I must admit she had more than a "taste" of my Eggplant. It will be hard not to choose it in future visits. And because we were celebrating a birthday, we asked for the dessert menu. But when our server brought it she also brought complimentary Thai doughnuts with a lit candle! So that replaced dessert choices. Food 5 stars+ Service 5 stars+ Ambiance 5 stars+

Was craving sushi and ginger salad and my sis and BIL swore by this place. Happy for the suggestion bc it didn't disappoint! Tried an ichiban beer and got the tuna/salmon such rainbow roll. Very fresh and liked the crunchy greens of the ginger salad. They're also mindful of food allergens where my sis had to go with the soy paper for her roll due to a seafood allergy so kudos to the staff for making it a food allergy friendly spot!
